Twenty-eight years experience at public and private colleges and universities in Georgia to raise more than $475 million in private funds for academic programs and capital projects.

    Personal Information

    Married to Michael C. Murphy, an attorney in Gwinnett County. The Murphys are the parents of three grown daughters.

    Mike has been very involved with many civic organizations in the community, including “Gwinnett County Chairman to Elect Sonny Perdue Governor”. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and served on U.S. Congressman Johnny Isakson's and on Speaker Newt Gingrich’s Service Academy Selection Panels.

    Mike also serves on the Gwinnett Juvenile Court Volunteer Lawyers Program for At-Risk Youth and on The Board of the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association. He is Past President of the Riverview Homeowner’s Association.
